Which lens do I need?
- Most models have a pre-facelift (pre-LCI) and a facelift (LCI) lens, and they aren't interchangeable.
- Left and right are as you sit in the driver's seat. On a UK car, left is the passenger side.

BMW headlight lens FAQs
Which lens do I need?
Most models have a pre-facelift (pre-LCI) and a facelift (LCI) lens, and they aren't interchangeable. Each listing shows the years and the headlights it fits. If you're not sure, WhatsApp us your registration and we'll check.
Can my cracked lens be fixed or repaired?
No. A cracked, chipped or crazed lens can't be repaired. It's replaced with a new one.
Can the old lens be polished instead?
No. We don't offer polishing, and it isn't the same as a new lens. The damaged lens comes off and a new one goes on.
Are your lenses original or aftermarket?
They're aftermarket, not original (OEM) parts. Our lenses are the highest quality available in that sector, with fitment and dimensions as close to the original as possible. The majority come from a supplier and manufacturer we have worked with for over a decade, who supply CE marked lenses. If you need a CE marked lens, contact us before you order to make sure our stock for your lens is CE marked.
Are the lenses sold in pairs?
No, each lens is sold per side. Choose left or right on the listing, as you sit in the driver's seat. On a UK car, left is the passenger side.
Do I need sealant to fit it?
Yes. We stock headlight sealants, including butyl. Select the sealant required when you order your lens.
Will a new lens stop water getting in?
Fitted with fresh sealant, yes: it stops water getting in through a cracked or failed lens. Parts inside that are already water damaged need checking. Book our lens replacement service for your model and we check and quote that for you.
Can you fit the lens for me?
Yes. Book our lens replacement service for your model and add the lens. It includes new seals, pressure and water testing, and a 2 year warranty.
What if the lens I need is out of stock?
WhatsApp us and we'll special order it for you, if available.
I'm outside the UK. What do I pay?
You pay the listed price without UK VAT. Import duties and taxes are charged by your country's customs and are paid by the receiver. A delivery refused because of unpaid customs charges is not refunded.
