Refurbishment & Repair From Water Damage

Prices are per headlight, with the new lens included, from £275 + VAT for a standard refurbishment. Each model's price is on its page. Add DHL Express or fitting at Oldbury as extras when you book, or drop off and collect for free.

A lens replacement changes the outer lens and reseals it. A refurbishment strips the whole headlight down, dries and cleans every internal part, bench tests the electrics, replaces the lens, the sealant and the factory gaskets with our uprated gaskets, restores the cap seals, and on a full refurbishment rebuilds the corroded wiring harness. Then it is pressure and water tested before it comes back.

Standard is for a headlight that still works but has water inside. Full is for one that has stopped working, or has a corroded internal harness. Choose the one that fits best when you book. We confirm it once we've seen your headlight, and agree any change with you before we start.

3 days, when your headlight is booked in advance, matches what was booked, is complete and is completely dry inside. If it needs drying out, or more work is found, that time is added. It must be with us by 10am on your booking day.

The refurbishment repairs the headlight itself. Warnings often come from a control unit outside the headlight that has been damaged by water, which isn't included. We check it when your headlight is in, tell you what we find, and can fit a new one supplied at the same time.

Yes, for the first few weeks. Light misting at the edges in cold or damp weather, which clears as the lights warm up, is the air inside settling. Water droplets, heavy fogging that doesn't clear or pooling water are not normal: contact us straight away.

No. The lens and any rebuilt parts are aftermarket unless we say otherwise, the highest quality available in that sector.

Drop it off at our Oldbury unit, send it with your own courier, or add DHL Express collection and return on your model's page (UK mainland including Northern Ireland, excluding the Highlands, islands and remote areas).

Usually, yes, but tell us before you book. A previous repair by anyone else changes the scope, the price and the turnaround.

Prices exclude VAT, which is added at checkout for UK orders. A 25% non-refundable deposit is taken at checkout to book your slot, and the balance is due once the work is complete.

You pay the listed price without UK VAT. Import duties and taxes are charged by your country's customs and are paid by the receiver. A delivery refused because of unpaid customs charges is not refunded.

Every headlight is worked on and sealed by hand by our technicians, to as close to OEM standard as possible. As it's hand work, there may be very minor imperfections within our tolerances.
