Featuring a start-up sequence and LED indicators to make those jaws drop, this will be a one-of-a-kind tail light available only with KYCS & BavGruppe Designs!

Product Information

The latest version of the tail lights are dual colour for the indicator (both red and amber). To switch between colours, connect or disconnect the included adapter plug included on the outer tail lights - this will change the indicator colour. To support this updated design, the sequential function has been removed.

There is an extension harness also included with the tail lights - these connect the outer tail lights to the inner tail lights to support the additional features and will need to be connected (left outer tail light to left inner tail light, and right outer tail light to right inner tail light).

Coding Prerequisites

The rear DRL must be enabled to be on at all times or the tail lights will not function correctly. If your 6 series does not have this feature, it can be enabled with feature coding from apps such as BimmerCode, ProTool, Carly etc. If you don't have access to these apps, we can code this in, either in person or remotely.

These are direct plug & play in most vehicles, however some coding may be required - if errors appear on the iDrive/cluster, these will need to be coded off. Depending on your application/coding platform, these will either be listed as bulb check hot & cold (to be set to off/not active), or LED conversion (to be set to on/active).

If there has been any additional/non factory coding done to the tail lights (for example brake force display), we recommend to revert this back to stock coding as these tail lights are designed to work with stock cars).

Coding

Coding may be required on your vehicle to remove bulb checks & warnings on indicators, brake lights, and tail lights.

Carried out on Saturdays, booked in advance only.

1-year guarantee. Not valid if the products show signs of tampering, mis-powering, reverse engineering, disassembly, installation error (if not installed by us), or if the vehicle has been involved in an accident. The warranty is for the purchaser only, and not transferrable to a future owner.
